About Us and The Vision
My name is Damynicque Norris. I am the founder and CEO of GoParent LLC. We are an app with the purpose to connect parents with other parents and resources to help them with their parenting journey. This app is designed to show parents on the go how to make parenting fun and easy. We provide the tools to find fun activities in everyone's price range. We also want to provide a platform for others to get the word out to parents about any upcoming events being held for parent and/or children.
I am a single mother on my own personal journey. I was in my bed on a Saturday night with nothing to do with my children and the idea came to me. I wish I had a way to find something to do, or even find parents in my area to have a play date with. Having relocated from Connecticut with my children and moving to Maryland, I am still finding friends myself. Our goal is to save other parents from my head ache and let them know they aren't alone.
